Additionally, the OpenFOAM technology offers complete freedom to customize and extend its functionalities.Many applications are supplied ready-to-use with the code together with a tutorial suite to showcase the functionality. OpenFOAM offers a wide range of applications and libraries but in particular cases a new extension or developement has to be added.
